St. Mary’s College is an independent, co-educational school with a Christian ethos, specifically Roman Catholic and welcoming pupils of all faiths.
It provides continuous, high-quality education to boys and girls aged 0-18 from a family of schools in Crosby and Blundellsands in the North West.
Alongside supporting outstanding academic achievements, it places great emphasis on the development of the whole person.
The family of schools promote caring for others and offers significant opportunities for spiritual and moral development.
A new website
A focal point for its online community and a platform to showcase its inspirational surroundings was at the top of the brief when St Mary’s College required a new website.
With an emphasis on capturing initial interest via their digital platforms and offering a place to communicate school news and events, St Mary’s invested in a redesign and rebuild of their website.
The new site is content rich with video and photography promoting the school’s attributes.
A brand for all ages
As part of the planning phase of the new website, ICG considered how to give equal share of voice to the three schools: Bright Sparks & Early Years, St Mary’s Prep and St Mary’s College.
As well as updating the look of the website, we had to consider each school’s identity and how that would work within the overall site.
Clear navigation is referenced on the homepage, with colour coded elements on each page alongside tailored content.
Alumni of the school
We developed an alumni site, Friends of St Mary’s.
This platform offers a digital space where former pupils, staff and governors can connect for social, career and business opportunities.
