Three cheers for London Designer Outlet’s new website

Ahead of its 10th birthday celebrations, London Designer Outlet (LDO) was in the market for a new, dynamic website and ICG’s digital team were on hand to bring their designs to life, to create and oversee a complete site overhaul. 

 

The new website showcases a seamless blend of style, innovation and most importantly, ease of use – aligning perfectly with the direction of the Wembley-based shopping outlet.

 

The homepage features a snapshot of what to expect from your visit to London’s largest outlet shopping destination with a new brand video embodying the spirit of LDO, key brand logos, campaign banners, a handy how to find us section and a Cineworld API integration showcasing the latest film releases. 

 

Video content is heavily used throughout with the aim to captivate visitors from the moment the page loads. The animations provide a dynamic and engaging way to introduce the brand, offering a visually pleasing journey through every click or swipe. 

 

A key focus on the refresh was to shine a light on each of the brand pages, improving content, adding captivating photo galleries, handy store services icons such as dog friendly and home delivery options as well as easily accessible opening times with a clear direction to the centre map.

 

The creation of new landing pages supports the outlet’s key campaigns – providing further insight and information to what’s hot at the centre including Style Has No Limit, The Cart Collective and 10 Years of LDO. Meanwhile existing pages had a touch of TLC with a nice mix of copy and images to create an immersive and enjoyable browsing experience.

 

The navigation menu has been polished to perfection with key sections including Experience and Neighbourhood, the latter incorporating LDO’s presence in the wider Wembley Park neighbourhood. 

 

Working alongside LDO’s creative agency, who created all site assets, we were able to reinforce the brand’s position as a top choice for a shopping, dining and leisure destination and reflect creative seen when shopping at the outlet.

 

ICG continues to support LDO with on-going SEO and digital marketing projects, including long-form blog writing, competitor analysis and website updates.
