‘Eat Out to Help Out’ Campaign Promotion

ICG is pro-actively helping clients maximise opportunities from the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme which launched this week.

A social media ad campaign to inspire customers to ‘eat out to help out’ is already generating results for retail client, Milsom Place shopping centre in Bath.

We created a campaign with clear goals: to inform customers that the centre is open for business, to showcase the centre’s restaurants and their dining offers and to support brand partners at a time when trade has been massively impacted.

Using engaging content and lifestyle photography, the ads are running on selected days and times throughout August on Facebook and Instagram.

Our social team will be reviewing performance based on traditional metrics including reach, engagement and link clicks as well as analysing sentiment and liaising with the centre’s marketing team to review bookings and footfall figures.

Gemma Johnson, Digital Marketing Executive at ICG, explained: “Social media ads are a great way to instantly generate brand awareness and get your campaign message in front of existing followers and new audiences.

“You don’t need big budgets to run an ad campaign. We work with clients to get a clear understanding of their desired goals, agree a strategy and create a bank of brand assets and messaging. Once we’ve implemented the campaign we monitor and amend to ensure maximum return on investment.”
